Drywall dust doesn't quit after one clean. Half the units we turn off NE 2nd Avenue were gutted concrete-block bungalows eighteen months ago, and that grit keeps working out of the AC vents for a season. So turnovers here run heavier on detail than in older rental stock — window tracks, baseboards, the tops of door frames.
Permitted short-term use mostly sits on the corridor near the Caribbean Marketplace and the Cultural Complex; the interior streets are a different story. That's between you and the city. What it means for us is a tight route — we can often chain a checkout here with a Design District or Wynwood turn on the same run. Linens swapped, restock counted, damage shot and timestamped before we lock up.
Turning over a renovated Little Haiti bungalow
My unit was just renovated. Do I need something beyond a normal turnover?
Usually yes, for the first few cleans. Post-reno dust settles out of vents and light fixtures for weeks, so we add detail passes on vents, tracks and high ledges until it stops showing up.
Can you turn my place and another listing near the Design District the same day?
Often, yes. Little Haiti sits right above the Design District and Wynwood, so we route those together when the checkout and check-in windows line up.
